Today I begin sharing it all..
Posted in: Uncategorized
Over the last couple of years I have seen thousands of sites and services that I feel readers, that are aspiring web designers and/or already are in the business, could benefit from if at a minimum to get inspired. I have saved hundreds of sites for PhotoShop Tricks, styles, and brushes. Also some of the coolest free scripts, hosted services and web tools that can really aide in speeding up the design process for the client while still adding the latest functionalities to your site.
I look forward to posts or comments on the links I’ll be posting regularly starting today and any insight or tips the reader would like to add.
Thanks

Welcome to Kuality Design
Posted in: Uncategorized
Why Kuality? Many people have asked me why we are called Kuality so I thought a posting would be the proper forum to address that question, it’s not because I can’t spell either. Around 1999 I was watching a kung-fu movie, don’t remember which one, and suddenly this name popped in my head “Koala Tee”. I was trying to find an angle into the custom designed T-shirt industry (which to this day I’m secretly hoping I’ll team up with a brilliant team of creative geniuses and make a solid clothing line for Man, Woman and child) and so I ran with it. Making a simple logo and loving the idea that Koala’s are Marsupials, kind yet fierce creatures that roam alone, I printed the first Tee’s in my friends basement in Vienna, VA. Although it never flourished into much of anything, I kept using the name and it kind of stuck although since it wasn’t Tee related anymore I switch it over to phonetically sound like “quality” which became the key word around the work I put forth effort to create. Today my heart no longer lies in t-shirt designs and printing, but instead in creating graphically appealing web builds that focus on paying close attention to clients needs, while giving me the freedom to express myself creatively and expand my service offerings. A secondary goal is to begin focusing on the hispanic market with educative “spanish” tuts that will hopefully pump a lot of interest in graphic and web design into Latin America. Beyond a trend, I know the key to success is in helping others for only then do you really help yourself. So anyways that’s how Kuality was born.
